Well hello there my dear friends…

It has been a while, I know (two and half months, actually). But I have a dang good reason for this blogging hiatus:

Meet Pippa Mabel Pobke, our very much loved darling daughter. She’s eight weeks old already and I’m flabbergasted at how quickly this time has already passed. She stares, she smiles, she coos, she poos, she laughs in her sleep, she blinks, she stretches, she shows off her gums, she sleeps with her eyes open, she yawns, she twitches. She is just amazingly clever, having learned all of these skills in her short eight weeks!

I’m completely smitten and overcome with joy with this beautiful new life, so I hope you’ll forgive me for my blogging absence and baby-preoccupation! :) However, I fully intend on sharing my journey with you on this blog, as well as sharing client previews and adventures in my new life as mother/photographer. :) (Speaking of which, if you’re interested in reading about everything pregnancy-related, I documented it all on our baby blog, Dear Pobke Baby.) I imagine this Pobke Photography Blog is going to touch on not only the beautiful people that come into my life as photographer, but also the topsy turvy world of parenthood I’ve now embarked on. So a bit of everything. :)
