In case you don’t follow me on Facebook or Twitter, I recently bragged about having booked a wedding in Victoria, British Columbia next June. (And I’m not gonna lie – I wasn’t exactly humble about bragging either… I was too stoked to take that route!!!) This is extremely exciting for a number of reasons: 1. I get to capture the wedding of a beautiful couple (the very same couple whose surprise engagement I also photographed); 2. I get to go back home to Seattle and visit the family again! (I’ve already told my family so there’s no chance of me giving my parents a heart attack like I did the last time.); 3. I’ll be in the Pacific Northwest for my 30th birthday! (Huzzah!)! The only thing I’m incredibly sad about is that hubby doesn’t get to come with me on this trip. However, as soon as I get back we are taking a few weeks off to celebrate my 30th together in Vietnam, a country that both of us have always wanted to visit but never had the chance! Double huzzah! I’d love to hear your travel tips if you’ve been to Vietnam — after all, it’s never too early to start planning! :)
