One of the things I love about living in Canberra is the fact that everyone is only one or two degrees of separation away. I could go to dinner party and meet all these new people, only to realise later that we all know each other through at least two other mutual acquaintances. Mikaela is one such friend: one of my best friends (Kelly Tunney) photographed her wedding a few years ago, and I also signed up for her amazing resin making jewelry classes earlier this year (during my crazy “must be crafty ALL the time” pregnancy phase). :) On top of all that, Mikaela is such a uniquely creative person so obviously, I adore being around her.
