Mentor Sessions with Christine (Canberra Photographer)

.
Everyone who knows me knows how much I love people. I love being around people, I love talking to (at) people, I love learning people’s stories, I just love people. Teaching is another love. It has always been a big part of who I am: after all, I come from a family of teachers and scholars, and I spent time abroad teaching in Europe and Asia (the latter is where Clinton and I met!).

Over the past six months, I’ve been receiving more and more emails from photographers around the world, asking questions about workflow, actions, how to shoot, how to pose, how to market, you name it. And I’ve responded to pretty much all of the many queries from those who took the time to message me. I have seriously enjoyed the ride. My only qualms were not being able to really get to know these online friends, and not being able to have enough time to get into all of their questions. I was only skimming the surface, and it was so incredibly frustrating for both them and me.

However. A few months ago, I had a lightbulb moment. What if I set up mentor sessions to teach photographers who were just starting out? What if I used my teaching skills to develop a loose curriculum to go over some points? What if I customised these mentor sessions to the range of photogs who want my help?

And so a plan was born. I’m SO proud and SO excited to announce that as of today, Pobke Photography now offers mentor sessions to those who are interested in learning, developing, growing and connecting!!

This isn’t just limited to locals – mentor sessions are available via Skype and over the phone (but will be broken up into two sessions as opposed to one), so if you think I could teach you a thing or two, let’s make it happen!

Please visit this page or email me for more details… I am so very excited to meet you. :) xoxo
